Classes

Classes are either online via zoom or in studio

Mat Foundation Class

An introduction to the basic principles and fundamental movements of Pilates.

Suitable for complete beginners or for those returning to Pilates after a long break from practising.

Highly recommend a one to one class if you are new to Pilates or new to Dark Sky Pilates.

Mat Mixed Level Class

The Mixed Level Mat Class is not recommended for complete beginners.

This class develops on from the basic foundations and fundamentals learned in the Mat Foundations Class by introducing some intermediate exercises, giving modifications where required for all levels.

Suitable for those who have already attended 10 or more pilates sessions.

Mat Intermediate Class

The Mat Intermediate Class is for not for beginners or if there are injuries.

This class is more challenging in pace and choreography and suitable for those who have been coming regularly to Pilates for 8 months or more.

 

Private 1:1 Session

Highly recommended if you are new to Pilates or new to Dark Sky Pilates.

Private 1:1 sessions are a good way to become familiar with the basics before joining a class. Personal needs can be addressed if you have specific injuries or conditions and individual goals can be assessed.

Classes via Zoom

You will need:

  • to download zoom on to your preferred device - laptop, desktop, tablet, mobile phone.

  • make sure that your chosen device is placed near you so that I can see you side on. Landscape view is best.

  • comfortable clothing and space to lay out a mat, rug or towel to lie on.
